This is an incredible movie. There is no doubt about that. I love this movie. I've seen it several times, but every time I watch it, I find something else that I love about it. (It's like a really good book) If you have never seen this movie, you are an idiot and you should rectify your idiotness immediately by watching this movie.
Reasons you should watch this movie:
1. Bette Davis - I refuse to say anything more.
2. It won Best Picture in 1950.
3. It is one of Roger Ebert's "Great Movies" (for all of you unawares of the greatness that is roger ebert reviews; he rates movies from 0 to 4 stars 4 being the best. But when he comes across a movie that is better than a 4 star rating he dubs it a "Great movie". And they are always really, really good.)
4. It was nominated for more Academy Awards than any other movie. (beating Titanic, Lord of the Rings, and Gone With the Wind)
5. It is considered to be one of the greatest screenplays of all time. (It won for the Academy Award for Screenplay).
6. It is actually pretty scary.
7. It's also one of Marilyn Monroe's first roles. She is incredible.
8. In 1990, All About Eve was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant." The film received in 1997 a placement on the Producers Guild of America Hall of Fame. In 1998, the movie ranked #16 on the American Film Institute list of the 100 Best American movies of all time.
In 2003, the character of Eve Harrington (interpreted by Anne Baxter) ranked #23 on the American Film Institute list of the 50 Best Villains of American Cinema. In 2005, the phrase, "Fasten your seatbelts. It's going to be a bumpy night" (spoken by the character of Margo Channing in the film) ranked #9 on the American Film Institute list of the 100 Best Movie Quotes of American Cinema.
9. In 1951, it won the BAFTA award for "Best Film from any Source"
There could not be any possible reason why you are not running to your library, or going to netflix to get this movie on hold.
Here are the requisite pictures: (but you really shouldn't need them - Go watch the movie):

"Life goes where she goes – she’s been profiled, covered, revealed, reported, what she eats and when and where, whom she knows and where she was and when and where she’s going. Eve. You know all about Eve. What can there be to know that you don’t know?”
